Unn (University of Nigeria, Nsukka) New Post-ume Date Announced

June 20, 2012

The recent mass irregularities and mass leakage that led to the cancelling of the unn 2012/2013 post-ume held between June 18-20 has been rectified and a new date announced. The reason of the cancellation of the post-ume including that of the faculty of medical sciences that was written on monday the 18th,the first day of the screening as our able team gathered from a reliable source is due to leakage in screening questions.
By the time of filing this report, the school P.R.O announced that the new post-ume date has been rescheduled and would be held between July 26-28. The screening test would be for everybody including those who wrote on the first day. The leakage of questions can not how ever be unattributed to the failure in power supply to Ekpo Ref the original venue for candidates for medicine on the first day of the screening. As at 9:30pm, hive of students were scampering to find their way to the university library where they were transferred to.With a distorted arrangement already in place, some students who God knows how they managed to get the answers to their phones managed to finish an exam that is supposed to last for an hour under 5 minutes.
Though it is painful that am exam you suffered and prepared for laboriously was cancelled, the truth is that those who merited the admision would have been the victims of such unscrupulous behaviour at the end of the day had it not been cancelled. UNN to ensure that the right people are admitted have to do what is right by cancelling the whole exercise. We would keep you abreast of any development and update regarding the new date for the UNN Post-ume.

Guday Sir! please sir i just wrote the resent POST UME, and i applied for EDUCATION/SOCIAL SCIENC, but i don’t know my departmental cut off point, and i’m from Cross River State. Sir i don’t know if you’ve an idea, please sir tell me or if u know the procedure to use and check, sir tell me. Thankz

    • @Jonny. Am glad with your concern. At this moment you have to be very careful with what people tell you concerning the cut-off mark. To be honest with the cut-off mark has not been released. so what ever you see in any other site is just an assumed cut-off mark. The school management are still working on it. Be sure to have it at your finger tip once it is out. Have a nice day.
